Domestic flight to the airport in the nearby town of Dehradun (40 minutes), then taxi to the school (20 minutes).
Transfer by train to the city of Haridwar, then taxi to the school.
Private taxi from Delhi airport to the school (recommended option, connect us. It takes 3-4 hours.
Bus from the "Kashmiri Gate" bus station in Delhi to Rishikesh, then taxi to school.
Additional service: We can arrange a personal transfer from Delhi airport to the gate of our school.

Rishikesh is in the mountains, which determines the climatic characteristics. Weather conditions in the state of Uttarakhand have a pronounced seasonality.
In winter (November-February), the temperature range is 11-25°C.
The summer months (March-July) are characterized by warmer and more comfortable weather - from 25°C to 35°C.
In March you will be able to admire the blue Ganga, such as it is shown in all photos. A unique microclimate is formed by the mountainous landscape and the proximity of the cool waters of the Ganges, which creates a comfortable temperature and humidity in the spring months - March and April.

Parmarth Niketan, one of the largest in India, located on the shore of the Ganga; Shivananda Ashram («Society of Divine Life»), known for its courses of yoga, meditation and pranayama; and Yoga Niketan Asharam, a popular center based on the principles of Patanjanali yoga. Phool Chatti Ashram is also worth mentioning for its peaceful atmosphere. You will also be able to see many sacred temples including the Kunjapuri Temple, located high in the mountains, and the cave of Vasishtha.
Of particular interest is the historical Ashram of Beatles, who has preserved his energy despite the time. The city preserves the legacy of the great yogis of the past - it will take at least three months to get acquainted with even the main part of the places of power.
The main attractions of Rishikesh include: «Stepped Gate» (Laxman Jhula), ashrams and yoga schools (especially in the area of Swarghram), the embankment of Ganga with shops and shopping streets, as well as the opportunity to practice rafting on the Ganga river.

Embarkment of Ganga: A central place for strolling and shopping, where you can see the noisy street life and enjoy the views of the river.

Our diet is based on a balanced vegetarian cuisine, according to the principles of satvic food. We offer:
Three meals a day with two tea breaks.
Individual adjustment of the diet in case of intolerance of any products.
This approach to nutrition promotes both the successful practice of yoga and the maintenance of a harmonious state of the body.
Special dietary needs should be reported at check-in.

Although the roots of yoga are in Sanskrit and Hindi, our course is entirely in English. We use medium language to make ancient knowledge open and understandable to seekers from all over the world.

Pens and notebooks, meditation handkerchief, clothing, which covering the body, including shoulders and knees, phone, passport, additional chargers, socket adapter, light jacket in case of rain or umbrella, sunscreen, hat, slippers and comfortable shoes, Comfortable yoga clothes and reusable water bottle.
But if for some reason you forgot something, remember that here you can always buy it, take your passport and money with you, and everything else can be purchased in local shops.
We ask you to take with you from home closed and non-enveloping clothes (shoulders, knees, neckline area) - a tribute to the culture and traditions of India, Rishikesh and all its inhabitants. If you do not have anything suitable, everything can be purchased in Rishikesh.

The need for vaccination each person determines for himself. Legally this is not mandatory, however, as a precaution, you can be vaccinated at will against certain diseases for which you are better advised to consult your doctor.
During the course, the school arranges accommodation in comfortable double rooms with air conditioning or fan. On request it is possible to stay in single rooms, the conditions must be specified separately.
