About school

International School of Yoga and Vedic Knowledge Urjayogshala
In translation from Sanskrit the word Urja ऊरज means «energy» or «life force» and is related to the concept of Ojas (Sanskr. ओजस ), which in ayurveda and yoga means the higher form of energy of the human body.

By making an analogy with the meaning of the name, it can be understood that the founders of the school put a deep meaning of this word in their curriculum, combined it with tradition and as a result created a unique program.

Everything in our world is energy, but unfortunately, living in big cities and putting a lot of emphasis on the material, we have lost the ability to control our energy.

In India there has traditionally been a centuries-old transfer of knowledge from teacher to student and the knowledge passed on by our teachers is rooted in great sages and practitioners who have dedicated their entire lives to yoga and practices, opening up a completely different path for themselves and their followers.

In our courses you will learn what yoga really is, how to manage energy, how many channels we have in the body and for what they are needed, and you will also learn how to manage your own energy.

Teacher

Developed the author’s method of teaching hatha yoga, in which traditional knowledge acquires a modern sound. His art is highly valued by his colleagues and students, and he himself regularly receives invitations to hold seminars from different countries.

Our programs are designed to give you a systemic understanding of yoga - from the fundamental basics to the subtleties of conducting groups and individual classes. Our teachers have trained hundreds of instructors from around the world, and now we have launched intensive 200 and 300-hour programs.

  • The school is accredited by the International Yoga Alliance. In order to receive the certificate, it is necessary to demonstrate a good knowledge of both theoretical material and practical skills, as well as to comply with regular visits.
  • We consciously limit the size of groups so that each student receives maximum attention and support, maximum group size 20 people.
  • Education in Rishikesh is both an intensive program and a deep reflection. In our free time we organize trips to sacred places, excursions and activities around the area, visit temples and cultural events, talk about traditions and values.
  • Our cuisine is a special: vegetarian dishes prepared with knowledge and love by Indian cooks.
  • All classes are accompanied by qualified translation, so the language barrier is excluded.
  • We strive to ensure that graduates not only receive professional competencies, but also feel the special world of Indian spirituality in their hearts, take a step towards internal transformation and acquire a new vector in life and profession.

We also plan to conduct courses and retreats in Russia, making traditional education available without going abroad.

For those who want to spend a vacation with benefits for body and soul, we have developed the program "Yoga vacation".
